Not real impressed with this card, but at least we have two guys in Stipe and D.C. that are humble. Besides Randy, can't think of anyone else who handled themselves with more respect.

Like what?

My early lean is to Rockhold over Romero. 5 rd fight is a nice edge for Rockhold as he has a cardio advantage. Romero turned down a 5 rd fight with him back in September.

Whittaker was on 1 leg and he won the last 3 rds vs Romero. I know Whittaker is no joke but I feel like if Yoel doesn't physically overwhelm you then he can fade pretty fast, not getting any younger either.

Can't see Bader losing to King Mo either. Thought that line would be closer to -350 than -260. King Mo sucks if he can't wrestlefuck you.

Khabib looks solid but that isn't a cheap price.

I would've been all over a top MW vs GSP but we all knew that probably was never coming to fruition.

Smartmoney on fire.

How can we not love Khabib to pulverize Ferguson? The price is heavy but in reality I think it's incredibly cheap. Khabib has never lost and if he gets Fergie on the ground, he will grind him into pulverized meat. Fergie doesn't have real confidence against Khabib, and Khabib has absolute, undeniable confidence against Fergie.

I think it will be a humiliating loss for Fergie. Plus the setup is Khabib/MAC for the super fight later in Russia. That will break all records. And you know with that on the horizon if it goes to the cards, then no way in hell they let Fergie win... unless he absolutely dominated Khabib -- and that aint happening.

Very excited about this Rockhold/Romero fight. I'm not a fan of Rockhold but would love for him to put a masterclass on Romero and smash him in 3rd or 4th round ground and pound after Romero is all oxygen'ed out. Interstingly Romero is a slight fave....

Fergie has all the makings of a one-time fake champ, much like Bisping. His record is better than Bisping's, but in reality Bisping was as fake a champion as there ever was. After Fergie loses to Khabib he won't ever get the title back unless MAC and Khabib retire.

And what about Gastelum? The guy is exciting as hell. Can we get him in a big fight or what?

Gastelum really needs to hire a nutritionist and go back down to 170, Weidman fight proved he isn't big enough to fight the elite fighters in that division at 185.

I think Ferguson is the 3rd best in that division but I would give him a better chance to beat Khabib than McGregor, atleast he has a good ground game and if Khabib can't get much done on the ground in a 5 rd fight then maybe he wears him down. Ferguson's cardio is incredible. He's very good at using a lot of different skillsets, but great at nothing. Not that I'd want to bet him but just think he's more live than McGregor in that spot.

You guys know better than I do, but I rate Fergie's chances better against Mac than against Khabib.

If Khabib gets Fergie on the ground, game over. If Fergie fights Mac, then it's likely a war.... unless Mac pops him on his feet. And I don't think that would happen like Eddie got blasted.

Anyways, I think we can't disrespect Gastelum anymore. He is undersized size-wise, but not as a fighter. He fuckign blasted Kennedy, Vitor and Bisping. He only lost to "That's My Boy" b/c of the size differential on the ground, but otherwise he came close to finishing "TMB".

Yes Gastelum is fat and lazy, but I think he belongs at 185. His odds of making 170 again are like one in a million now. He almost didn't make weight against Bisping. The guy is lazy as fuck but an incredible fighter. It's just the truth.

He absolutely obliterated Kennedy, Vitor and Bisping, and for that he deserves big-time respect. Am I crazy to think that he could beat Rockhold? Used to sound ridiculous, but if that match is 100% on the feet then he could knock out Rockhold.

Gastelum deserves top level action and I want to see him in some big matchups.

I haven't checked the roster lately, but off the top of my head.... man, there's no one for Gastelum to fight. Maybe he could fight the "weird smile guy", but that's a lateral move. He deserves a top 5 guy. I don't think anybody is available.

I said it in a confusing way. I meant I would give Ferguson a better chance to beat Khabib than I would give McGregor to beat Khabib.

Just think if your gonna fight Khabib, either 1 of them is going to the mat and Conor is probably useless there and doesn't have the cardio to maybe tire Khabib out and doesn't have the ground game to lock him up down there.

I doubt either would win but atleast Ferguson has potential to do those things. Conor basically has to scorch him fast or else he is getting taken down.

I misinterpreted what you said. I agree Fergie better chance against Mac than against Khabib. And I agree Khabib on the ground vs. Mac.... that would be an embarassing mauling whereas Fergie could do better.

Am I crazy to think that Khabib would put an embarassing loss on Mac? I mean, if Mac doesn't clip him and get him disoriented, then Khabib will just get him to the ground and pulverize him. And that would be a truly embarassing loss... I think even moreso than Bisping's losses. I mean, after that kind of loss the Mac wouldn't be able to talk any more junk. It's like Bisping. Bisping is now the biggest joke in UFC history after getting "choked out and knocked out" by two small division guys.

I think this sets up as the biggest fight in UFC history. Khabib beats Fergie and then in the fall we've got Mac/Khabib for the biggest fight hype ever.

If Khabib goes ground on him, then Mac's career is over. You take away the shit talking, the invincibility, etc... that would be the end of Mac.

It never ends pretty for these fighters.

Runmaker... I think you are 100% right about khabib is going to destroy Tony Ferguson.

I though Keven Lee was beating the breaks off Ferguson when he got caught in a triangle choke, No way that happens to Khabib ; if not for Tony Ferguson long limbs he would have lost that fight. I lost a good amount of $ on that fight but I learned a lot. Edson Barboza is a former Muay Thai kickboxer and Khibib still pressured him, non of Barboza kicks were effective, and khabib let the fight drag out, khbib could have ended it in the first round if he wanted.

We have not seen the best Khabib Nurmagomedov, he is 29 years and is getting better.
“All the time when I come back, I come back stronger than ever,” Nurmagomedov continued. “This is what I want to show people around the world, how I improved myself. And maybe people think I don't train — I feel 100 percent.
