General consensus says PHI D is good, and seemingly so while holding ATL to 10 and MIN to 7 going into SB. But look at their regular season schedule, they gave up 24 to SEA and 35 to LAR recent weeks, and 23-24 to LAC, CAR, WAS earlier; all OK QBs although not the elite group. I doubt if NE wouldn't score more on a neutral indoor field.

On the other hand, NE gave up 27 and 24 to MIA and PIT recent weeks after an non-existent D the first 4 weeks (noted only gave up 20 to NO though). At least PIT and NO were having the elite QB group. NE D improved during the course of the season but they didn't face too much competition.

Both played ATL and held ATL in check pretty dominantly. Other than that, they pretty much had a fairly easy schedule not facing many high-power offense.

Neither D looks too appealing. I could see both teams able to put up 24+ rather easily given their firepower against elite Ds. NE never been shut down all season; same for PHI except the first two games Foles took over. Scoring 38 against the MIN D was pretty impressive although I doubt if they can do it again in SB.

The OVER seems like a safe play. Any insights anyone?

You may be onto to something......I to like the Over a little, but will not make a play on the total until the day before the game......doesn't mean I won't flip & take the Under tho, that's why I'm waiting.

Both coaches are aggressive and will not take their foot off the gas. No lead is safe in this game so they will push for points with every opportunity they get. The final minutes of the half and the game could generate 14-21 points alone. I already hit 48 pretty hard. It’s 48.5 now at my book and I expect it to go above 49 by kickoff

i wouldn’t consider philly a high powered offense. What did they do with Foles prior to last week? Vikings were in a tough spot and the game snowballed on them. Don’t think philly scores more than 20 vs pats

first half over i think is the better play along with philly first half. actually like philly wins first half/patriots win game at +550 too. seems like patriots make halftime adjustments and win games. would anyone be surprised if it went just like the jaguars game?

Was thinking the same thing, Philly covers 1st half & game, Pats cover 2nd half, but I'm hoping Philly hangs on for the win......but could see a Pats 3 point win.

Game will probably start off slow as they feel each other out. Defenses may come out with a few wrinkles and offenses may not open it up unless they have to. Don’t force anything and give up possession. 2nd half may be more wide open with both sides trading points. Just a feeling but what the hell do I know.

That game was over before half.....when the jaqs took two knees.

Then in the 4th quarter the defense started to tire bc they were on the field the whole half and then out came the laundry. I don't think the philly coaching staff is dumb like Marron.

I know the eagles offense looked great against Minnesota but aside from that game I wouldn’t put much faith in foles.
