Someone is feeling very confident about the Philadelphia Eagles heading into Super Bowl LII ... so confident that they reportedly placed a multi-million wager on the Birds!

Assuming this is the same person referenced in the following tweet, they aren’t just taking the Eagles to cover the spread, which is now at Patriots -5. They are taking the Eagles to WIN the 2018 Super Bowl.

BREAKING ---
Famous World Series Let-It-Ride bettor in negotiations with MGM to make BIGGEST sports bet in Las Vegas HISTORY on #FlyEaglesFly to win #SB52 (upwards of 8 FIGURES expected on this historic bet!)

That’s a lotttttt of money.

The referenced bettor here, by the way, picked all six 2017 World Series games correctly before cashing out with $14 million prior to Game 7. So they have a track record of success.

Eagles fans will sure hope this bettor is right about their pick this time as well.

According to an ESPN report , at least one, big-time gambler believes in the Eagles enough to place a "multimillion-dollar" wager at MGM's sportsbooks in Las Vegas.

The Eagles were underdogs Wednesday in Vegas, when ESPN said MGM vice president of race and sports Jay Rood said the bet was placed.

ESPN said Rood did not reveal the exact amount of the bet, but said it was "multimillions."

According to ESPN, that makes it one of the biggest bets in recent Vegas history.

ESPN said Rood declined to divulge if the bet was on the money-line or a straight bet.

The report said the spread at MGM's sportsbook dropped a point, from New England -5.5 to -4.5, Wednesday afternoon, and the money line moved from +180 to +170.

ESPN said Rood said the MGM had taken double the amount of point-spread bets on the Eagles as it had the Patriots, and eight times as many money-line wagers on the Eagles.

More than $100 million is expected to be bet on the Super Bowl.

Whoa, they negotiate? I'm surprised by this.

If you have millions to throw around, you can negotiate with anyone.
