So I bet 13 units on the Pats to win the Super Bowl at 2 to 1 right before the playoffs began. Last week I bet 2k on the Jags ML to hedge it a little and Im debating on what to do for the big game. Do I play Philly ML at +170, should I play them +5.5 and maybe Ill get lucky and hit both bets? Maybe it doesn't matter but I settle up after the game and Im up 20 units, with this wager in play. Thoughts?
I would play Philly +5.5 & go for the middle
$13 gets you $26 profit back on the Pats SU win, & since you still like the Pats to win SU, I would risk half the profits on Philly +5.5.......$13 on Philly +5.5, so if Pats win by 3, you collect $39 profit.......or if Pats cover, your profit is $13, a Philly SU win, & you're even, no win or losses.
I did the same thing, bet the pats would win the SB before the Jax game. when the line came out put in a 2 team teaser on Eagles +12 1/2 over 41 points and have MMA parlays with the pats ML ... If i was you i would wait for late pats money and but the eagles up to + 7 1/2.
