Heritage just fucked me and cancelled my live bets during the probowl saying they posted a bad line. I hit for a decent chunk and now the money has been removed from my account and they say the grade is final. Is there anything I can do.

Bad line? Did u play a team plus points that mistakenly should have been minus ? Bad lines can void the bet. But it would have to be a truly crazy obvious mistake. Usually a shop will just pay the mistake. How much money what was the line? Must be a lot of money for them to not honor it. Did they cancel all the bets?

Bad Lines? Does this ever happen at live books in Vegas? I think the publicity would hurt them badly but online, it's an "oh well"

It was the first half of the Pro bowl right after Big Ben threw the pick 6. I believe that made the score 17-3. I knew the live total would be pretty high at that point. I expected it to be around 56 but they posted 61.5 so I hit the under for $2500 total. Max of $500 every 30 seconds so the line was posted for several minutes. Of course right after I placed it Alex Smith throws a bomb to Jarvis Landry down to the 5 yard line. Luckily he got intercepted in the end zone a few plays later. That would’ve put 27 points on the board with a few minutes to go before halftime so 61 1/2 was a realistic total.

Anyway the total ended at 47 which is nowhere near any “correct” live total they would have posted. They paid me last night then took the funds away at some point today. I asked the supervisor for the correct total at that time but he conveniently didn’t have it and told me that his supervisor Would not be calling me back despite my request and that the grade was final.

Meanwhile you know they would’ve taken my money if I lost. But now that I’m finally back in the black they don’t want to pay out

I tried on Intertops to bet live a few times and every time before my bet was approved they changed the line....so I don't play live anymore, but they are careful before confirming the play.. What you have here is wrong in my opinion!

Damn, sorry to hear that Cash.......this is another reason why I won't be playing online anymore after PASPA is overturned & we have legal betting in Pa & several other states. Offshore books have been living high on the hog for too long, & can screw you when ever they want, like your situation.

Like Hache stated, fill out the complaint.

TD7:18Harrison Smith intercepted Ben Roethlisberger for 79 yard touchdown (Graham Gano made PAT)........... with 7:18 left until the half and 20 points scored,I don't see how they can claim 61.5 was a bad line

I don't know what a bad line is. Bad line is on them. If it was just a mistake when they put it the numbers. Okay. If it showed up and was supposed to be 56 and it ended up 560. Obvious mistake. But, what does bad line mean? They didn't handicap the line right and you bet their mistake and they want to void it?

a bad line should be like a 13 point favorite listed as a 13 pt dog, or 1h line left up when the game is 10 mins into the half etc..... i see nothing bad about that line, you figure 2-3 more possesions in the 1h, could be looking at another 10 points easy before halftime

Sorry for your loss.

Unfortunately Offshore books don't give 2 shits about the customer when it comes to money.

Sad but true.

Good luck

Yeah, just seems they handicapped the line wrong and he benefited. They then realized it was a bad line and know they are gonna screw him.

Alex Smith got int'd in the endzone just a few minutes later so there easily could have been 10-14 more points scored. So if 61.5 was a bad line, then what was the correct line with 20 points on the board and several minutes to go before halftime? High 50s? This is ridiculous! I want my fuckin money!
