Eagles Star Alshon Jeffery Guarantees Super Bowl Win Over Pats

For a team that is embracing their label of the underdog, the Eagles are incredibly confident they're going to walk away from Sunday's game with a W.

Somewhere, Patriots fans are doubled over laughing, but it's the truth. The entire city has gotten to the point where they're accepting this win and scheduling the victory parade. For a team who hasn't ever won a Super Bowl, they sure do believe this is the time they'll bring home a Lombardi.

Don't believe me? Just listen to Alshon Jeffery heading into the Super Bowl.
During an interview, the Eagles' star wide receiver said he's bringing a Lombardi Trophy back to Philadelphia.

Changing the question from "if" to "when" is an incredibly bold move.To be fair, Jeffery has had this level of confidence for a while now. He mentioned that his team would be playing in the Super Bowl this time last year, although he was on the Bears at the time. Thanks to a clever loophole, Jeffery made it clear he believed the Eagles were championship bound the entire time.

That's not the point.

The point is that there's no reason to fuel the opponent in any way & put that kind of irresponsible pressure on your teammates.

"We are going to go out and play our game, do our best and leave it all out on the field, give it 110% and hopefully its enough to bring that trophy home to the City of Philadelphia and all its fans"

hey dumbass you are a wide receiver therefor not that important. You will hopefully have 4 catches if that. You will have little to do with the outcome of the game.

Receivers and DB's are the worst. They think they mean more to the outcome of games than they really do. Hence why anyone would overpay that Beckam guy in New York. He doesnt make a different in wins and losses.

Most of these guys. If they catch the ball, it is all because of them and they are the greatest player in their minds. If they don't catch the ball, its the qbs fault or the lines fault for not giving them enough time or they should have not ran so much.

I think what makes people (Eagles backers) upset is these "guaranteed wins" rarely work out for players

Ive seen the saints have the worst secondary in the nfl and the best .
