We are always looking for ways to make things better here at therx. We want to pose a question to all of you the forums members. What tools, functions or settings do you like on our site? Are there any improvements that you would like to see made? We are trying to make your time on the site as easy and positive as we can. This thread is for your comments, ideas, and views how to make your user experience better.

Have a contest to crown a RX capping champ.... Once this is done, have him defend his crown, against challengers... Give the champ some noterity.... Post it as a sticky up top...

I've always thought that those who bring well researched sports gambling content should be recognized and possibly rewarded.

The most important way to establish a mecca sports gambling board is through content excellence. And I don't mean bringing articles and research written by pros. I mean to encourage the many great amateur handicappers there are in different nooks and crannies of the country to post their writeups and research. I've seen many of them over the years but they disappear because it takes a lot of time and effort to do the work they share but they never get any recognition. In fact often times they get trolled and the authorities don't defend them. They leave.

Find a way to recognize and reward their efforts. Their numbers will grow over time and viewership will increase.

Increase the edit time allowed for posts to 10 minutes instead of five, even going to six minutes would be an improvement.

When you ban someone & you let them back. Why are you letting them back knowingly with a different user name?

That I don't understand.

I don't have a problem with this poster but I'm using him as a example.

Vlad the Impaler is banned but he is now posting as Kim ll Sung.

Why not just let him be Vlad the Impaler again?

Maybe it's complicated I don't know.

That's my change...lol

Like this idea. Maybe for each board - NFL; NBA; College Hoops etc

I like these ideas.

To add on to this - Maybe have a "notifications" alert that tells you when someone "likes/comments" your posts or threads.

Also, CONTESTS...to specify, Sponsored contests. +ev type contests that are a win/win for the book and player.

There might be changes in this in the future but you are right about Vlad. He was banned over and over again for being an Over the Top Racist
The thought at the time was we wouldn't be as trigger Happy with the Ban button like it was when Wil was here.

so someone like Vlad was given another chance. But on Post review
That was to try to keep him in check. of course there were times where someone missed a over the top racist remark, and it was posted
then we banned him again, then again and then again...

under post review I will say 18 out of 20 posts seem ok ... with a little shade of racism
the other 2, well not so good.

Bottom line is he has gotten better, but every so often his true colors come out ( no pun )

As for others, they usually sneak their way back in. hopefully if they had a troubled past, they have changed and blend in with the rest

Exactly. I like me as Vlad more than Kim. Haha

Banning is pointless and stupid. Alot of people agree with my views as well. They might not just be as open about it. It's like someone gets offended and they don't like what they read, just easier to ban. It's like when you give facts and figures of violent crime like I have and you know what the typical comeback is in person or text or forum., "Thats just racist". Ridiculous.

I am sure I will get banned again at some point for something stupid.

I'm not really a bad guy and most would be surprised if they met me. I am not a skinhead. I don't have any tattoes. I have never been to any KKK bullshit. I am just sick and fed up how the world is these days. I never thought Congress and the nation would be discussing who is considered a boy and girl . Good God

I have probably been banned from 200 plus places/ times. Bumble the dating app was the latest to ban me because I told a skank to go blow a black guy as she was beneath me. Whats the big deal? Don't like it? Just delete me

All the major sites and media are so damn liberal... The 2 biggest sites on the internet. Facebook and google are hardcore liberal. I put something very cruel and all of that in google one day for fun and the search gave me everything but what I searched for.
