Been trying to work on some projects to sort out some facts for us from these teams previous games. I just can't seem to get the job done. Time has been short. So if anyone has any fundamentals to contribute to this thread, please do. Even if the stuff supports the Eagles. That's good too.

Supposedly Brady's speech has been seen............can only hope he doesn't win the MVP of the league.

The Falcons losing the Super Bowl means that the MVP of the regular season has now not held the Lombardi Trophy up for 17 straight seasons. In that timeframe, the regular-season MVP has appeared in the big game eight times, losing all eight.

Every SB that Bill Belichick has been involved with has been decided by 6 or less points. I took Philly early at plus 5 1/2.

Doesn't mean shit Aflacc, one of these years it could be a NE blowout, or hell, NE could lose straight up!! No one really knows what's going to happen, that's the thrill of it!!!! I had a pretty good year, so if I'm throwing anything at this game I'm looking for a good hit, +356 sounds good to me. Playing with house money anyway!!! Good luck!!!

Play a streak. You win many times and only lose once.

IF you want true numbers that mean something more, dissect the games that hey won and average those stats, then divide the games that lost and divide those stats for both teams.

Then do all this again for games they played against Teams that had winning records and again for teams they played with losing records.

Then divide this for home and away.

The main factor though is doing this for games with different quarter backs on Philly. Thats where the true numbers fall into place.

I have other things that dig deeper but this should give you an idea of what the potential is for todays game.

GL today whenever you choose.

This is true, although is it still a small sample size. I mean it reflects 7 games which is a ton of SB's but we wouldn't think much of this. It isn't like BB wants the games to be close. Philly will likely want to slow the game, which may be one reason some of these games have been close. Jax was beating NE well in the start just by keeping the ball forever, scoring, and the Pat's go 3 and out (they use the start of games to reveal tendencies from other team to later exploit, so they can start slow sometimes and so on.

But I do sort of have trouble thinking that the final score of SB 38 (31-28 or something?) is relevant, so the "trend" is thin. But I have gone off weaker ones. The fact NE never scores in the first QTR is interesting. It must supress payout for that prop. I should probably fade that if I can find it. Will NE score in the first QTR is expensive though. IF you specify TD, not so much.

Will Foles be the next Hostetler? If Eagles win it will be an interesting scenario in PHL when Wentz retains his starting role.

or will the GOAT win another sb ring?

Hostetler did win the superbowl in 1991 for the NYG after replacing the starting qb Simms late in the season. Al michaels was the announcer in that superbowl as well, funny enough.
