Eagles should’ve been called for a false start on the 4th and 1 play they converted in the 4th quarter that they ended up converting. It was clear! Unreal it was missed.

Why no holding the whole game on either offensive line? That favors NE. Seemed to happen against Jax, too.
And most every play you could call PI on the DB (or sometimes the WR), they just seem to decide to call it sometimes, sometimes not.

The NFL made sure that 1) for once, NE did not appear to get all the calls, and 2) they would not overturn a bullshit pass reception "surviving the ground" or whatever TF they call it... if they had reversed that Ertz Eagle TD, NFL fans would be talking about it till kickoff in September.

Yup, they call it against Pitt helping the Pats win, & now they don't call the same crap & it go against the Pats.......these clowns known as NFL refs don't know WTF a catch is, & I wish they would get rid of video replay, its done more damage than not.

I have a problem with the foot outta bound td catch then the ertz catch. Ertz already took several steps before he dove. The outta bounds one, dude was still juggling

That was not a catch based off of all season long how they called it.

Ertz was a runner not a receiver, the James play was totally different

The flags aren’t thrown much in the SB. They let a lot of things go.

The Ertz TD was a catch, he took 2-3 Full steps before diving. I thought it was clearly a catch.

The Clement TD should have been incl based on the rule. The ball was moving before 2 feet down.

Having said that Philly deserved that game, and I bet the other side

Did anyone see Hogan get hammered running downfield on the last Hail Mary play? He got blocked by the db about 30 yards downfield. How is that acceptable? Impossible to miss too. Not saying whether it makes a difference but that no call is laughable.

It's a Hail Mary you gotta be really blatent on those and refs aren't lookin to reward teams who couldn't win without a miracle.

So by your logic the Eagles could have jumped offsides and it wouldn’t have been called either.

You cant hit receivers 30 yards downfield, and since they needed as many bodies near the endzone as possible it matters.

The Clement's catch was not a catch, it's not how they ruled all season. It's as if they were afraid to overturn it. There is no way they didn't see the ball moving before the left foot gets down. I haven't seen one person say they expected that call to stand, not based on how they have ruled all season.

I've changed my position on the Ertz TD, I think it was a catch since the contact came after he took a step or two and not during the process of making a catch. Although I can't help but wonder what Dez Bryant thought about that call.

The illegal formation? IDK, it is what it is

But as I stated in another thread, the call I was screaming at was the no call on an obvious and blatant pick that enabled Ertz to get 10 yards open on the 4th down conversion late in the game. You just can't miss that

There were probably other missed calls, some that may have benefited the Patriots. But the people complaining about the refs and the Patriots after every fucking game should STFU now.

I also think the Eagles played great, had a great season, and are a worthy and deserving champion. The Patriots have more than their fair share, but it still sucks to lose.

Im tired of the game always starting late. They need to start at 4pm eastern so those who don't riot can get up easy for work on Monday.

I went looking for a video of the Dez Bryant no catch vs the Packers in the playoffs, and I just learned it was the same official that worked the game last night

Although the replay decision is no longer made by him, he still has to explain it

i thought the pick play on the ertz 4th down was pretty obvious missed call. the others are tough. people were saying illegal formation on the 4th and 1 since the receiver was off the line but idk about that. its a call that didnt really effect the play, the eagles had the perfect call so a penalty woulda felt like a patriots bail out. i think all the tds should have stood as they did. i did see the hit 30 yards down the field on the last play, that was pretty blatant.

The key issue with Clement's catch is not control of the ball, but you have to look very close. The tip of Clement's left foot clips green turf before he touches the white line after he regains control -- it can only be seen on the one angle from behind, but once you see it in high def it's obvious (those little astroturf rubber bits fly up and it even leaves a mark on the field)

There's way more money to be made off a Philly win. And the Clement call was wrong, not a TD. Proving which side the booth was on.
