2 teams play, 1 wins.

How this sports stuff works.

The sum of 1 teams execution was slightly better than the other teams. Anything else is ESPN fodder.

This was the kind of game where the great Peyton Manning would have lit it up..........or throw an untimely INT to Malcolm Jenkins. :ohno:

it's more or less where in most cases for teams that have leads, they play more conservative. You can't play the Pats this way, as we saw with the Jags
two weeks before.

1. The officiating should be like that every game

2. Michaels and Collinsworth not knowing what a catch is speaks volumes about how over complicated the NFL has made the game

3. I am kind of stunned at how awful the lines were set. Not just for this game, but for the conference championship games too. Vegas got murdered yesterday by taking huge positions on the Patriots and under (the next time someone says "The books want even action" point at them and laugh). Just a horrendous job by the lines makers.

First SB ever that I didn't get excited about before the game.

Back up quarterback played the game of his life.

NE special teams played losing football.

Philly coaches out coached NE coaches.

And Pederson knew this, he saw the meltdown & conservative play by Atlanta last year & the Jags 2 weeks ago & knew he would have to be aggressive, hence going for it on 4th & goal & getting the TD......& especially going for it on 4th & 1 from their own 45 yard line, talk about being aggressive, 90% of coaches would have punted there, & we know Belichick would have went for it there also.

I thought it was a great game. The non bettors and non football fans that watched the game with me were entertained.

Is Gronk retiring? I think the Pats will still win their division next year, but unless they fix their defense, no more SB rings for Brady & Belichick.

Seems doubtful. Probably just physically and emotionally spent after a long season. Similar to Big Ben last year.

The officiating was an A+. Maybe the NFL will make the change to mandate all games called like this. First time I have seen the game let the players play in years.

Defense could have been better on both sides, but I really enjoyed the game.
