That game last night was terrible in this regard

It hit me big time that we are very close to flag football. Outside of the hit on Cooks , I can't recall any good ole fashioned defensive plays , good hits , great tackles etc. Brady got hit a couple of times. big deal..I know a lot of it has to do with the rules , but outside of game being competitive , it just isn't as good a product as it use to be... losing interest folks ...

I've played in backyard games at Thanksgiving with my cousins that had more contact and good hits.

Loved the hit on Cooks when he tried to jump over the defensive back....got hit and stopped short of a first down...

Chung also made a great tackle on Clement to stop a first down in the 4th QTR. I thought Clement was going to run thru him, but Chung stuffed him. Don't think Cooks would say there was no hitting.

Both QB's were on the mark making perfect throws in stride, not going to be many big hits when that happens.

the rules have changed to where players aren't allowed to hit like they use to.. a lot less hitting now then in the past. game is changing
