Two teams going in opposite directions. The Jazz have won 6 in row including 5 straight on the road beating teams like the Raptors, Warriors and Spurs in that stretch. They are also filing up the net averaging 128 points in their last 4 games. I feel tonight they will stumble a bit just like the Wizards stumbled after a hot stretch. Jazz are playing their 4th straight road game and their last one before returning home on Friday to play Charlotte. I can sense a little let down knowing this has already been a successful road trip. I don't see much urgency from the Jazz to get pumped for Memphis tonight. I faded the Griz last night in ATL on their 4th straight road game. Now they return home after losing all 4 road games including back to back blowouts in the last 2. Coming back will give them a much needed change in scenery and perhaps a good shot at a win as their next 5 games are against OKC OKC CLE MIA BOS. Selling Jazz high and buying Griz low. I feel this will be a close game down to the wire so will grab the points.
Miami +5: 1 unit play
Faded the Rockets last night and will come back and fade them again as they are now playing their 4th straight road game. They are coming off 3 straight road blow outs winning by DD and not being tested. Tonight I feel they get a stiff test against a solid Heat team who have lost 4 in row. They will welcome a challenge from a tired Houston team who will struggle to put away the Heat. Miami is feisty and athletic enough to keep up with the Rockets. Would not be surprised at a SU Heat win tonight. Miami is also 8-2 ATS when an underdog between 4 and 5.5 points. But, take these trends with a grain of salt. Also, I see almost 70% action on Hou and the line at some outs has dipped to 4.5? I like Miami's chances to win tonight so will take the generous points.
