I know we Tamps Bay fans are stuck with this guy, but just curious if you guys think if any team would currently give up Thet First Round Pick for Jameis Winston.

Would love to wipe our hands clean of him & grab another QB high...

Another black qb bites the dust.

Why do these teams keep doing this. Lamar Jackson, you are next.

I hate when teams at the top take a qb
"because they need one". You take him #1 overall because you think he will be the face of the franchise for 15 years and an all pro for 10 years. They don't come along every year.

There are probably 5-7 franchise qbs right now and half of those are done in the next couple years

There are way more than 5-7 franchise QBs

Agree on Wentz

Flacco and Eli, who have been starters with their respective teams for over a decade and both Super Bowl champions aren't franchise QBs? ok

Arizona's probably the most realistic trading partner. I could see them being willing to trade the 15th pick for Winston, however I doubt Tampa Bay would do it unless they were able to land Cousins.

I would say

BrADY
Brees
Rothlisberger

Those 3 are done within 1-2 years

Luck
Rogers
Wentz

Carr?? Garroppolo? Those are debateable.

Newton? No thanks. Watson. I know how it will go * he will suck like the rest of them. Eli?? If his name were Eli Fishers, he might not be a starter. Andy Dalton? Not a chance. Flacco? No

A franchise qb carries the team. You could have nothing but 7th round picks and a franchise quarterback and they could get you to 8-8. Thats why they are taken 1 every year.

These are the only guys I would consider franchise guys. Others are very good but with these guys year in and year out you think you got a chance to win a super bowl regardless of other weaknesses on the team.

Easily worst QB in division Matt Cam Drew

NFC north has 4 better QBs Aaron Matt Kirk and Tryb
NFC West has Russell Jimmy Goff and AZ has drafted their guy.
NFC East has Smith, Carson, Dak and Eli (if Jameis get 2 Super Bowls he can stay as long as he likes)

Worst QB in conference.

NO one wants him in NFC.

Graoppolo drew a 2nd round pick from SF to NE. Someone might give TB a conditional second rounder. Cleveland would probably do it because they are so dumb, but they have a few years to live with their dumb first round pick after just getting over their last dumb first round QB pick. If Fitzgerald holds up the whole year, I could see them wanting to get rid of the contract and taking a lower round pick as their alternative is to release him which isn't as outlandish as it might seem based on the financial considerations of his contract. With five first round QB's picked, there will be at least five starting QB's available pretty soon and I don't see Jameis' past performance at a level where he is approaching elite or even untouchable.
