Where you been?? Who on this planet didn't think he was getting paid?

Well when the trade happened most thought he would get tagged for a year so SF could have more time to evaluate him but then his play kinda changed that dynamic.

NE didn't F'up, the whole situation was a victim of circumstance.

The Cavs fucked up, they traded the best PG in the league for damaged goods.

I still don't think you understand that NE couldn't pay JG. Someone else could and they gave up a second rd draft pick to get the chance. Pretty fair really.

nice money. message to rest of league to really have a plan on when your franchise QB is retiring before you spend a high draft pick on a QB

is about time the steelers draft their next franchise qb b/c but gotta get that timing right like the packers did

I don't get caught up in the overall contract number. How much of it is guaranteed? This is what really matters.

They could have paid him if kraft would have owned and let his coach coach.

Let me make it simple .

Pats fans would have been better off with 16 more seasons of jimmy G rather then 16 more games of tommy b

Make it simpler. You think NE should cut/trade Brady right now and go with JimmyG rather than deal him to SF 3 months ago. That’s what you mean.

I am a big SF fran - But Jimmy G did show a glaring weakness he cant get the ball down field (25yrds) with any zip.

I love that they got him, I hate that they paid him, 4 wins blech

So SF makes Jimmy G the highest paid QB, and in Chop's world that proves SF is going to start a dynasty

How did that work out for the Ravens again?

Does Chop understand salary cap 101? and one of the reasons the Pats are successful is because they don't pay too much money to any one person?

Finally, is Belichick going to coach SF now? or is Kyle Shanahan the next coaching legend? Weren't people blaming him for losing the SB just one short year ago?

As for Jimmy G, awesome baby, I'm happy for him
