Fading Pels playing their 3rd straight road game. They split the first 2 losing to Phi and winning in Bro in 2OT. Starters logged a lot of minutes everyone played between 42 and 50 minutes. NO is also a very inconsistent team which makes it very hard to wager on or against them. You don't know if you will get the team that beat Hou, Bos and OKC or the team that lost to Sac, Atl and NYK?? The 2 bigs are coming off massive performances with AD getting 44 and 17 and NM getting 21 and 16. Rondo also had a triple double. Even without Cousins this Pels team can stuff the stat sheet and pour on the points. They can also lay a dud and completely get blown out like they did in Philly on Friday night. I'm wagering that the Pels disappoint tonight against Det. The Pistons are off back to back loses including a home loss on Friday to the Clips. As much as Blake wanted that game I find the team usually gets the better of the player. Same way the Bulls got the better of Butler a couple of hours later that same Friday night. So we can forgive Griffen and the Pistons for losing Friday night at home to the Clips. Prior to that loss they had won 5 straight home games. Now we get them at home at with a little bit of value asking them to win by 3. I feel the Pels' Jeckyl and Hyde routine will show up and after a great performance on Saturday against the Nets we will see them finding a hard time keeping up with the Pistons. Looking forward to see how the bigs from each team go up against each other. Pistons get off their 2 game snide and come out with a solid home win.
