Foles has not heard from Brady yet

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles is a conquering hero in the City of Brotherly Love, and he said he has received countless congratulatory messages since helping the team win Super Bowl LII.

Now, has he heard from Tom Brady?

"I haven't heard from him yet," Foles said Thursday in an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! "I know he's busy. I know he's got a lot going on."

Brady failed to shake Foles' hand following the Eagles' 41-33 victory in Super Bowl LII on Feb. 4. The latter, who was named the game's MVP, attributed the lack of the customary postgame gesture to the magnitude of the moment.

"I will say this: As soon as the game's over, you can't move," the 29-year-old Foles said. "You can't even express emotions. There's so many cameras. I mean, you have to have a blocker in front of you. I was about to get (center) Jason Kelce and say, 'Hey, bro, can you come with me for five minutes?'"

Kimmel said a good way for Brady to make amends would be to send Foles a pair of Uggs.

"I do like Uggs," Foles said.

Brady did congratulate other Philadelphia players on the field at the Super Bowl. He also posted a message on Instagram last week to express his gratitude for a bevy of things, including the Eagles.

"Gratitude to the Philadelphia Eagles team and organization for bringing out the best in us and being gracious winners (as well as congratulations on winning the championship)," Brady wrote.

Most people have known Brady is a cry baby when he loses......he won't shake hands when he loses most times in a big game.

Brady showed his true colors on MNF vs Miami, I thought he was gonna start crying on the bench he looked so upset, lol.....when the game isn't going his way/refs fixing it to go his way, he gets very upset.

He should retire, & take along Lebitch with him.

Probably was unintentional. But maybe it wasn't.

Things manifest, then the media gets a hold of it. If Tom reaches out now, then it looks like it's fake.

I bet he congratulates him at some point. Tom lives in a castle surrounded by a moat. With a bitch as a queen.

And on a strictly football level, I hate him. He never struck me as a dude that doesn't have a heart though. He seems like a pro. I bet he gives Nick props at some point when the cameras aren't on. On a personal level.

Haha. Congrats for what? Are you on the team?

As a lifelong Eagles fan, I'm happy you got to witness that before you hit the dirt. What a great run. Stars lined up.

After all those years, it's fitting I guess that that team with a scrub backup QB did it. I think it's awesome.

No congrats in order. Happy for you though. :toast:

A true pro does not have to offer congrats to someone that does their job.

I'm a big fan of the after game coaches handshake as well as the players conversing after a tough game. Love when the QB's pay respect to one another and other players as well. Especially when it's a future HOFer getting paid respect from opposing players, like every game in Mannings last couple years.

Brady was a real biatch in this spot. It's not like there is another game to stay focused for. The game is over. You were the last two teams standing. You were just half of the greatest shootout of a superbowl in history where both QB's played great. Man up and shake the guys hand.

As far as two weeks later or whatever I don't care about.

I'm a big Brady fan.

But I do agree that he should have sought out Foles and shook his hand immediately after the game. Very surprised he didn't. Seems out of character for Brady. Maybe there's a good reason that we will never know.

Brady is as overated as they come but this is hardly a story.

Should he send a congratulory text to the back up right tackle who made the pro bowl too?
