You know, my top plays today were Nebraska, like you, and then the UNDER in the All Star Game. I really liked this Stanford pick too, especially since I was getting it at minus 3.5 at the book I usually play. Okay, so I wanted a 3 teamer so put AS Under with Stanford and Brad Powers top play Best Bet for today Purdue. I should have listened to you on that, both these plays. I also put Power's Purdue on a ticket with Team Steph and Under and Purdue.
Here's the thing. I like your plays today (and before).
But I went for Power's BS despite that his logic for Purdue didn't make any since. I did this as I have rocks for brains.
The other part which made no sense is that Power's top play for this whole weekend (Saturday included) last Wednesday was today's (Sunday's) Michigan Game, but then last night at midnight he shifted plays and made Purdue his "Best Bet", with logic that made no sense.
These 3 teamers were just my "other" tickets, so no biggie, but it would have been nice to cash them.
(Nicer if Nebraska could have come through, or Purdue.)
But here's the thing -- What's up with this guy Powers, if anybody knows? I mean Fezzik on the same RJ Bell shows is obviously just talking "off the cuff" (aka "out of his ass") most of the time. Every once in a while even a blind squirrel finds a nut, but Fezzik is either trying to get people to make losing bets or is just an idiot (several Wednesdays in a row Top Picks losers, and near every Saturday -- yesterday taking Xavier over Villanova, for example. Blow out loss.
Okay, what struck me on this is that Powers had a near perfect Saturday with 6 or 7 good picks (and he adopted Fezzik's Xavier pick, which lost miserably) ... and his pick for the whole weekend, as of last Tuesday or Wednesday, was already Michigan, but then last night Powers switches it up to Purdue which turns out to be a lousy pick.
If a capper gives a few winners, is he then required to screw the public or what?
He didn't explain how and why Michigan was his pick of the whole weekend, but then got demoted and he pulled Purdue out of his ass instead as his "Best Bet".
I don't get it, and got fucked today by it.
I did very well (after the Nebraska debacle which we were both on BANG), but don't get what Powers did changing his top play -- which wound up screwing me, and wasting that great minus 3.5 line I got on Stanford which won for me. (and very sorry about your getting screwed by the hook on this one Bang :-( ... I'm sorry ... and very sorry I could not put my great line to use witht he AS Under and losing Purdue on my ticket :-( )
