If full truth were to be known, all the leagues would have pushed for sports betting being legal nationwide long long long ago for a peace of the action. I'm not saying that I agree with them.... But keeping it real, these men are billionaires that didn't get where they are in life by giving things away... I think it's to be expected. What is it gamblers say :"greed is good"

NBA & MLB stated they won't allow the states that won't sign up for the integrity tax to be allowed to bet on their sports, lol......they're living in a fantasy world.

The uproar it will cause & it could actually damage their product if they shut out those states & blacked out games as well.

The NFL already screwed up with the kneeling BS last year & lost viewership & fans, these greedy leagues are looking for more money but they will.never receive 1% tax......I could see maybe .25%, but even that's highway robbery on their part.

Big money wins at most things in the long run in a Capitalist society...... To think otherwise is stupidity.

If they want an integrity tax from every state, Nevada will have to chop in as well......& I don't see that going over well.

These kind of people (owners) with their kinda money, enjoy things beyond what the average joe can comprehend... In Nevada, they had(or have) a captured audience.... That's an EGO boost if nothing else.... Nevada is sorta the holy grail in some ways of thinking...

Fuck the leagues. They get and have been getting viewership thanks to gambling. I wouldn't give them a nickel.

I hope PASPA is overturned, the NFL & NHL don't ask for an integrity tax, & flourish under legal sports betting while NBA & MLB lose lots of money for black outs, etc cuz they want tax.

In all likelihood, NFL is sitting back to see what SCOTUS does, & once they legalize betting, they will probably join the NBA & MLB on the ingrety tax......but I can also see a judge making a judgment against the greedy leagues on an integrity tax.....the judge will say the leagues fought tooth & nail for over 25 years against legal betting, & now that its here, they want a cut of the money?

I don't see how a judge sides with the leagues on this integrity tax.....but money talks & judges are bought.

That's the thing Adam Silver doesn't get, the NBA is unwatchable if it isn't for betting.

The whole thing keeps helping lawyers getting richer..

Oh for the bye gone days where I bet with school mates for 1 dollar or people on the farm for nickles and quarters..... Fuck them indeed!

I'm just glad the discussion to make this happen is taking place. We can set up places for heroin addicts to safely inject themselves but not have a mechanism to put $5 on a basketball game?

so let's play this out....states tell MLB to screw off not giving you ANY money from wagering.....MLB gonna fold up shop? You serious?

It an honest question.... The bottom line is A. The supreme court releases their decision on PAPSA. If it's a simple overturn with no more language, then we will see what the states do. New Jersey will have won or lost on a single issue.

Now, I have no idea what or where this will go. But ( as for states making revenue, I truly fell that will be secondary). I want simply to bet and be paid and so do you.... A lot of the rest is window dressing.

Do any sports leagues walk into the MGM and ask for a cut on their wagers? That sounds asinine.
