Ardsley High School (NY.) won its division championship on an insane 3/4 court buzzer beater by Julian McGarvey for a miraculous 52-51 victory.
Making the story even better, the player who sunk the heave missed two free throws with under four seconds remaining to put his team in that position. He more than made up for it by coming to the rescue with a shot for the ages.

Very clear travel, no question about it. He took a hop off both feet and landed before he shot, that is unquestionably a travel

He made a dribble during that hop. Can’t see it in original video posted in OP but can see it in video in article I posted from different angle. Was still a travel but not as clear cut when you see the dribble he made. I’ve seen much worse not called in NBA. Good no call by official here in my opinion.

I'd like to see a clip where you can see the dribble. If he did get a dribble in there, where is the travel?

He got one dribble in and STILL traveled before he heaved the desperation shot.

Great luck though!

Why make that pass? Inbounding team was leading

I'm sure the coach told them to do that if they thought they were close to getting a 5 second call. It also may have been the designed play to begin with. A few years ago Northern Iowa blew like a 9 point lead lead with under a minute left in the NCAA tournament, had one of their players just tossed the ball down the court at any point during their collapse they probably win the game.

Their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip to be Square.
