RX.com mods and owners (You have a GEM poster JOH [SUP]TM [/SUP] for marketing and contests) Hire him

do you see what he brings to your longstanding amazing forum

how is it possible hes not a paid Mod anymore or contest Mod or marketing resource, IT he seems to know also.

most organized, quick always there for a PM question, Accurate, trustworthy, good communicator (ok he gets a little frustrated at posters making bad mistakes at times! but who would not we are horrible at times!)

this guy sets up contests, draws people in, helps make RX great and not a paid MOD as we all understand.

he does all that for fun, helping the forum and perhaps gets a few tips at the end of the post up contests? He should have not to hope for tips here, those should be gravy extra

Hire the man!

Instead of the RX hiring him, we should all give him some money.

Maybe every contest signup we send an extra $5 or something to JOH for his time and effort.

If we have 100 people playing in a contest, he gets a small $500 for his time/trouble.

Then maybe the RX will match what we give him to make it even better

i agree and any poster who wins a contest and does not give him a nice tip should be banned from further contest

these great RX sponsor off shore books should also consider or be asked to sponsor these or some contests, or put in 20% , encourage them and the good work JOH does

most forums have +EV contests for the players who are the reasons forums survive and are the post up players for the sponsor books to survive . Never at RX.

TOP SPORTSBOOKS LISTED as banner sponsors at RX on home page. some great ones!

Maybe once the site is upgraded & new perks are added ownership could be in position to hire him back to run contests.

No doubt he's one of the best.

JOH is organized, prompt, and professional. His contests are A+. His Tracker Forum tracking was superior.

I support any efforts for JOH.

If you can't sign JOH, at least put the franchise tag on him this year.

This.

From my experience in these things every winner has been a stiff.

I would say you are damn near 100% wrong on this... I was in for $800 between the 3 square pools for the Superbowl... I got back $175... told JOH to take out 25/50, can’t remember exactly... look at previous contests, and you’ll see many thanks from JOH for the generosity...which I wasn’t able to notice your name in any of these said contests

You don't have to worry, you are Not on "The List"

We have always kept a list of who has Tipped and what. It doesn't matter if it's big or small. Nobody knows each others financial situation is.

it just Blows my mind when someone wins like $4K - $5K and tips $20 bucks

But I have figured a different way to work these Contests out in the future
because I just don't understand that a guy like JOH will work his butt off on his Own time and not even be a thought to tip him something...

I will note that there has been Others that don't even have to Think about it, and Tip

just my 2 1/2 cents

I honestly didn't know he wasn't paid. Shame on the RX. My 2 cents are that it isn't cool not to pay the guy then shame the users here for not tipping him. He should be paid or compensated in some way. We have to find a way to compensate him even if you don't win a contest.

So let's say he were to be on the payroll, should he still expect a tip for doing his job? I don't think that would be similar to a poker dealer as the poker dealer contributes to the win in a way.

JOH is outstanding and does a great job. You guys should franchise him.
