This reminds me of when in Hockey the St. Louis Blues went to the Conference finals and instead of addressing their needs they got rid of Hallak and picked up Ryan Miller in net. I was saying it was horrible while all the Hockey guys were saying it it was smart to get them over the hump to the final. To make a long story short the Blues havent even beeb back to the conference finals since and have regresses big time

Should have kept Keenum and see what he could really do in his second year imo.... Releasing Bridgewater (huge injury and not sure if he canc ome back from that, and also hasnt player in a long while), and releasing Glassbones Bradford were good calls....

What needs did Minnesota have that they cannot address because of the Cousins contract?

I don't dislike cousins he's a decent QB. But it's a lateral move from keenum to him

You had a QB, Keenum, who led you to a 13-3 record, by throwing 22 TDs against only 7 interceptions and 1 fumble for a 98.3 QB rating in his first real chance as a starter in the NFL and that's not good enough for you?

I hope Cousins and the Vikings tank.

I can't believe this is even a debate. Obviously good, Cousins is a much better player than Keenum.

The disparity in skill position talent between the Vikings and Redskins last year was not a small gap. Not to mention the differences in defense.

We'll see how Keenum does this year, he had 1 good year where everything went completely perfect for him.
