With so many top seeds getting knocked off, picking winners is like throwing darts. Look at a few of the highly touted teams that are conspicuous by their absence in this years Sweet 16:

Virginia, Michigan State, North Carolina, Xavier, Cincinnati, Tennessee, Auburn, Arizona, Creighton, Ohio State and Michigan to mention a few that were considered by many "experts" to be shoo-ins. So many of these teams looked beat-up and tired.
North Carolina and Virginia looked listless and ended-up getting blown-out, Tennessee didn't look any better, did Auburn even show-up and the Bearcats blowing that huge lead...............Unbelievable.

Huge blown leads, missed free throws, half point losses, meaningless off balance 3’s with 1 second on the clock have been brutal to me. Hard to imagine being on all the bad beats

You have a lot of company Stevie.........Handicapping the 2018 NCAA basketball tournament is like a crap-shoot. It would be interesting to see how
a bettor would have done had he bet the money line taking all the "dogs" ????????? A big payday betting on UMBC for starters......

Top teams not as good as top teams from the past. Bottom teams are better, talent is distributed around the country a lot more than in the past. Lines much smaller with large seed gaps than in the past. AAU Ball has changed things a lot. Been watching this tourney since early 70s, its not even the same from 10-15 years ago. The parity won’t stop anytime soon

Exactly Biz....Plus a lot more talent available to fill the rosters of these so-called "lesser programs" with decent players resulting in they being very competitive at tournament time when they have a chance to prove themselves. The polls (rankings) are meaningless.
