A&M opened at +3.5 and are down to +2.5. A&M and Michigan coming off high notes. What is more exhausting? Needing a buzzer beater to win? Or not only holding off, but OUTPLAYING the defending champs for 40 minutes and beating them by 20? A&M had their foot on the gas the whole second half with that 20 point lead. A few times they ran the clock down and made a shot, but other times they weren't afraid to attack. Michigan's Wagner can hit the 3 and play down low. He'll be the key here. If Wagner can pull Davis or Williams out of the paint to guard him on the perimeter, that'll open up some holes for Michigan. Even if Wagner is cold from 3, just extracting one of A&M's big guys might be enough to shake things up. Michigan winners of 11 straight, including a Big Ten title in which they beat Michigan State and Purdue. At some point you get tired. I think of UConn in 2011 winning the Big East then the National Championship. UConn won two games because their opponent missed a good luck at the buzzer. They needed all the luck they could get in order to make that kind of run. Texas A&M seems relaxed (just look at their coach), in control (despite the turnovers they don't really seem worried), and determined (Williams and Davis have that look in their eye), and A&M are fully capable of playing to the level of their competition (both good or bad).

Both Michigan and A&M shoot %66 from the FT line so the end of this one is a big toss up. Gotta like getting a basket here. Kinda makes you wonder why you're getting one? But maybe that's just because the average Joe sees a #3 against a #7 and automatically assumes the spread makes sense at -3.
