I know A&M seems to be the sexy pick for tonight but why are so many overlooking one of the hottest teams in the tournament? Michigan looked really good winning the Big 10 tournament and although not as impressive in their two tournament wins but still wins, not many taking them as a serious contender. What’s everyone’s biggest concern with Michigan winning?

Yes, i was very impressed with their bigs last game but I’m worried we might be overreacting to their win over UNC. i wanna take A&M but haven’t pulled the trigger yet! Just trying to get some feedback. Thanks.

a&m turns the ball over a little bit too much i think. had 14 each game thus far. considering unc really isnt known for defense id say thats a concern on the aggies side for sure. michigan has won 11 in a row and can get hot from the outside. a&m is built to play with the lead which is why the unc game looked so great, michigan can play at all speeds.

I’m an SEC guy and have watched A&M a lot this year and they never looked like the team i saw against UNC.

Michigan lost ATS by 2.5 last game, A&M covered by 28, both against solid competition. That is a 30.5 ATS difference. 1, 2, 3 points at a time, on offense and defense, 40 minutes (not like football blowouts where a team gets a pick 6 and a punt return and a fumble recovery on the 3 yard line...).

Big 10 has not looked good ATS in the tournament, 2-5-1, Purdue and Michigan covered first round big spreads against patsies. SEC has not looked too hot either, so so.

A&M seems to be jelling, they struggled mid season with some injuries and suspensions and now are looking good. Michigan is solid, sure, but I like the points.

UNC plays no defense and they shot horribly. If UM is off and let's A&M play half court ball so their oxen can lumber up and down the court and push people around, they'll win. If Michigan is hitting and the Aggies get behind early and those wide-bodies have to run, look out. Michigan was off their first weekend. Wonder if they'll have their shooting back tonight?

I hope so. I took them tonight and have them going all the way in a bracket.

Good Luck!

This A&M/Mich is very intriguing. Of the 13 straight wins by Mich, I probably watched 7 of those games. And what I saw was an incredibly disciplined group of kids. They run the offense. They don't turn it over. And they play solid defense. They are an absolutely perfect ensemble of young men. I would even go so far as to guarantee that there is not one single rapist on the ENTIRE roster. Everyone is judging A&M off of one game. Michigan can be judged going back 13.

Not sure what happened in the Houston game. Houston is good. Michigan got lucky. But like AB said, plenty of champs needed a game like that along the way

TAMU looks terrible and they're getting hammered by the hot shooting of Mich. not sure TAMU has the offensive power to come from behind.
