Is the NCAA having trouble selling Sweet 16 tickets or is it all about TV revenue ? This has the makings of a great game; I thought this facility would be full.

One thing to understand is that the 4 sections behind and opposite the benches are sections reserved for the schools playing in the doubleheader. The two reserved for KState and Kentucky will be mostly empty for the first game. One of those sections (behind the Loyola bench) is onscreen.

Good observation "Shorty", thank you for pointing that out; No doubt, Kentucky will bring a big hoard of fans......I was under the impression that a ticket purchase would let you sit in-on both games.

Whoever wins this game gets zero calls in their favor in Sweet 16.

It does. It looks like it's starting to fill up in that section. Most of those ticket holders probably weren't in a hurry to be there.

Who wants to watch Loyola? Where are they from again? Lol.

Surprised that a "Chicago Boy" wouldn't know where Loyola is located. Are you old enough to remember the 1963 Rambler NCAA National Championship team led by their legendary coach John Ireland.........A great team.

The tickets to these games are a fortune and I don't blame anyone that doesn't go. College kids can't afford to go unless mom and dad spring for the tickets.

The games are typically out of town and donating alumni will often get first crack at the seats that are distributed by the school that's playing. At schools like Kentucky, Michigan, etc. there's no shortage of those using them.
