Kind-of like guys going out with their "girl friends" during the early evening hours having a good time and then coming home to their wife...late at night....Talk about challenges on the "home front"....that is scary......

No.

This was all about Loyola and had very little, if anything, to do with a hangover effect.

Yeah I know, I know they were still trying to win w final 4 on the line...just meant that they may have mentally thought it was going to be a little easier...after knocking off a hot Ky team...that's all

To some extent, that might be a factor, but they were acutely aware that Loyola plays good ball having won 3 games and beaten some good teams.
Loyola might have snuck up on a few teams in the early rounds but by yesterday they were "known".
Loyola was unbelievable with their passing and shooting and surprised K St with their aggressiveness driving to the hoop.
I think K State was out coached, overall, x's and o's and overall preparation wise.
I might take Loyola + 6 or whatever against Michigan, long 6 days ahead, but at this point I am thinking they are a very good well coached team.

Loyola was very good in their conference and I think moving to the Missouri Valley with better competition really helped them. What could be a better story then them winning it all.
But even if they don't they are the story of this tournament.
