What the heck do they feed those girls at that school?

They broke UCLA men's record for most consecutive Final Four appearances.

non story.. no competition in that sport...

Ok, why is there no competition in women's basketball? It's obvious UConn is great year after year.

All other schools have the same opportunity to be great as UConn. Has to be a better answer than
"no competition".

Maybe the ladies at UConn drink more cranberry juice than the all other schools. Yeah, that's the ticket!

I know UConn recruits well but so do other schools. Each Division I women's team is allowed 15
scholarships. During 2017, 5,588 women played Division I basketball. Hard to believe with the
number of players out there UConn always gets the top 15 players, especially for eleven straight
years.

Maybe another reason? I say they drink more cranberry juice than the other 349 Division I schools
who play women's basketball.

They lost last year....So the competition can't be that bad.

Red Eye is actually correct & this comes from someone who follows the sport from the high school level on up in terms of the women's game. While parity has started to come in terms of more teams getting better & rising up to that just below main tier, the amount of 5 star elite talent is not as high as the men's game. The teams that tend to get those recruits are usually Baylor, Connecticut, Tennessee & honorable mention to South Carolina as Dawn can recruit.

The biggest thing is Connecticut gets a high percentage of them to the point that they don't have enough starting spots so they come off the bench which says a lot.

Like I said last year, I pretty much guaranteed they would not win it all as it was their worst team talent wise so someone better win it then as in 2018 they were pretty much 99% to win it with what they would have.

What is actually stealing is right now at 5Dimes you can get + money on the actual result of the title game in Connecticut beats Louisville +173 & Connecticut beats Mississippi State +117 which is better than taking them - a big number to win it all regardless of who they play.

Geno gets the best talent, AND he coaches them to play his style

If you don't buy into his system 1,000%, if you don't behave off the court like they expect you to, if you don't dress the way Chris Dailey tells you to, you're gone

There's more than 6 or 7 talented girls in the country, just look at the WNBA

It's a combination of talent and coaching and system and effort, they're ALWAYS playing hard, ALWAYS
