easily one of the worst losses of the NBA season. Gave up 9-0 run to Celts to lose at home as 10 pt favorite. Full strength vs Boston's B or C-Squad, on last day of West Coast road trip. Jazz did this a week ago as 14 pt favorites against the Hawks.

[FONT=&quot]Celtics beat Jazz 97-94 to go 4-0 on west coast road trip. That's the first time since 2009 the Celtics have swept a four-game road trip. They do it tonight without Kyrie, Morris, Horford, Hayward, Smart, and Theis.

Dallas played their reserves for the entire 4th quarter despite being down 1 and the starters only playing around 20 minutes.

Dallas were up 8 in Q3 when they pulled their starters never to return.

Like I burned my money.

Reminded me a little of my bet on GGG vs Canelo which was my worst beat ever.

A bit off topic.

Sadly I had exact result bets so the push didn't help. One of the judges gave round 7 to canelo to ensure the draw. That was one of GGG's most dominant rounds.

I'm was not surprised canelo was caught juicing [or eating mexican fast food lol] ahead of the rematch, he is just too small to trouble GGG.

Hopefully Joshua will KO/TKO Parker.....

On topic

With the mavs I took live bet on basis that the starters would come back mid Q4 to at least make the game close. But seems that 20mins was enough for them. Obviously saving them for next years playoff run.

As the boxing thread seems to be dead Joshua KO/TKO over Parker. They both came up around the same time as amateurs but never met. Parker has been able to beat good/average pro fighters which were all home matches apart from Hughie Fury. Joshua is aggressive and likes to settle his fights decisively.

Joshua has previously said he has been aware of Parker since their amateur days and would like to face him and make a statement ie KO.

Parker missed out on 2012 Olympic selection due to regional selection policy and he beat the regional selection prior to the Olympics decisively.

My take
Parker will be on the back foot for most of fight, best chance to win is if Joshua tires which is is unlikely.

Picks in order of probability
Joshua TKO
Joshua UD
Joshua KO

Notes

Parker cuts
Parker has not been hurt in any of his fights and has been able to take some big hits
Parker's tendency is to be patient rather than aggressive but will trade if required
Little risk of judge decision going against Joshua

so you are the first Kiwi that isn't backing Parker? Odds went from +900 to +400 in the last 72 hrs and the claim in England is it's all the Kiwi's driving the line down

Good rule of thumb in sports wagering is to be wary of or fade British boxers. Besides Lennox Lewis, Joe Calzaghe and maybe Froch here and there, they've all been farces in the biggest fights involving two modern-day fighters in their prime

I hope Parker does well, my son did competitive junior boxing and Parker trained and sparred at his gym regularly when he was an amateur. He is a nice guy, very quiet and humble. He beat up all the adults pretty comfortably while he was still young.

I completely agree with your comments regarding the British boxers, but Joshua looks a little different.

I thought the line for Joshua would drop, and I expect some steam before the fight.

Could be NZ money coming in, the British will probably bet late and probably not much interest in the fight from the US public.
