5Dimes Deposit Warning

So I havent used 5D in a few years. Decided to reload on there for the upcoming Masters. Used a visa to deposit. That account is for this use only. Tried to make a deposit online, card declined, 10 seconds later 3 fraud charges showed up for purchases in China. WF put the $ right back in my account and is sending me a new card. This all happened 10 min ago. Just a heads up.

Yes I have Bitcoin but I just completely forgot about it and stupidly used the visa.

U call the bank and say its ok and you were buying electronics online.

Its not fraud.. idiot

Its your charge to them.

3 seperate charges? 3 seperate amounts not even close to what I deposited? It never did that in the past and if thats true it would have been nice if they told me first so I would not follow up.
1 was a metal foundry
1 was a Jersey website
And I forget what the other was.

usually you will see the charged amount coming from somewhere Other than the Book

the 3 charges could have been 3 times they tried to get the charge through

other books do the same thing. Like 5Team said, you should call the bank and tell them it's ok
which would have stopped the other 2 attempts

so none of the charges were close to the amount you wanted to deposit ?

Within $50. 3 different amounts, 3 different companies.

Let me weigh in on this and BE VERY CLEAR! My deposit with them had long since cleared, when a string of fraud deposits showed on CC up ( 3 seperate charges like he said...Only one was in the US with Sprint, the other two for computer supplies.. I WASN'T TRYING TO MAKE A DEPOSIT! The same thing happened with bookmaker..

Hamil, I like you, guy. However, any deposit with any card at a book nowadays.... not a good idea.

Several posters in the past have reported similar fraud incidents when using credit cards at 5D.

Ive been dealing with locals and PPH sites for so long, I really wasnt thinking when I did everything.

Amounts may look different at first as the Chinese amount may look high.

not going to move it at this time because I have no idea how 5Dimes works. Plus like already said, in the past there have been reports of charges
after making a deposit, I believe at 5Dimes ( also Bookmaker, but my nephew has a account there that I set up, and he never had that problem )

just so you know since you said it's been a while, when using a CC, the credit card processor won't be under the Books name
it could be anything from a Cell phone company, a online Sneaker store to even a online Jewelry store

some places including those we have spoken about before will come up as a Out of Country charge.
as long as you call your bank and tell them it's ok, everything will work out.

my nephew always has to call the bank and do this. so first charge is rejected, then they run it again and it goes through
