I hate this time of year. My favorite of all tournaments (March Madness) is about to end, it's 5 months until football season, and the most boring of all sports is about to begin...Baseball! I'd rather watch paint dry. It's right up there with golf and soccer. One of my clients practically was at a point where he was begging me to take his Giants tickets when I was in the Bay Area (some of the best seats in the house) and I'd just look at him and say.."are you kidding?". Why would I want to waste 2-3 hours of my time watching that.

Baseball has never been more than something in the background, whether a game is on TV or live at the park. Completely boring.

They can market it anyway they want, but it hasn't been America's National Pastime for years. And the ratings prove it.

Well show me the ratings

Boycotted MLB years ago during the steroid era and haven’t watched a game since. Wife wasn’t very happy as we used to go to St. Louis for a weekend every year and go to a Cardinals game which she enjoyed. I doubt I could name 5 players right now. Don’t miss it at all.

Best time of year for gambling. Full slot of games everyday, morning games, noon games, night games, and 10 cent lines and better on most matchups. Its actually more fun to line shop than watch the games!

Baseball is slow. I agree that it's often on in the background while you do something else. That's a positive by the way. But what you touched on is so true. Games day and night. Plus significant plus odds if you are so inclined. It's a great betting medium.

I was never a big gambler when it came to baseball, just enjoyed watching it but it just got worse over the years and then the steroid shit ended it for me. But one thing I did do once I stopped watching baseball was get more involved in horse racing. I personally find betting on the horses the most exciting of all the sports. I know you are a horse player also, so I’m curious which you enjoy gambling on more, baseball or horses?

5dimes is the best for baseball betting but I havent used them in a few years because it's such a pain in the ass to deposit and withdrawal whereas both are easy on bovada
