You have to take into account NBA thuggery. Nowadays half the players couldn't give a fuck on any given night and their nightly hoes are more important. Not one lick of defense played.

If there was a way to match this current record vs records from the past.... I think you'd see it's easier now to dump in points when players give less fucks so they can have more fucks in the nighttime.

Pretty impressive but more in line of a cal Ripken sort of way.
Easy to score 10 on a given night but all it takes is one 1st qtr injury or a quick ejection and you back down to zero.

Its very impressive but nothing can compare to greenbacks going 730 days in a row without posting

It didn't sound very impressive but when looking at the all time lists, I guess it is not as common as it sounds... MJs would be much higher (+160) had he not retired. I am surprised no Wilt....

Speaks more about being healthy than anything. I remember the night Jordan didn’t score 10 - he broke his foot in golden state.

It's a very breakable record, especially considering MJ had 866 and Jabbar had 787, people have already been there and I've never even heard it talked about before.

I'm with Chop on this one, it's more of an endurance thing than it is an athletic fete, and the games don't even have to be consecutive. Only the games you play in matter

There aren't many records that won't be broken, I can think of two.

Ripken's Iron Man record, starting 2,632 straight games. That's 16+ straight seasons without missing one start

Cy Young's 511 wins. 25 straight years of 20 wins, and you're still 11 wins short

Maybe Brett Farve's 297 straight starts at QB, That's 18.5 seasons without and injury for a QB in the NFL. Plus you have to be good enough to start 18.5 seasons

There are others that are a long shot, but I think just about any record can and will be broken
