In your opinion, what NCAA athletic program has always been overrated?

In regards to their athletic dominance?

I'd say mine is either Notre Dame or Texas. Neither of these teams really win anything unless of course you count Women's basketball as relevant.

Depends what you mean and over what period of time. You vmcan go back quite a ways and then notre dame is far from overrated or you can look at the last 20 and say they are well overrated. Tend to agree with Texas. Assuming you mean more recent history, i tend to agree with texas. They have the one football championship but that was basically on the back of the greatest college player of alltime. You had to work hard to NOT win a title with him taking snaps.

ND is in the Frozen Four, playing Mich Thursday. Actually they do very well in the lesser sports.

Three that have been very overrated in the last 30 years are UCLA, Ok St, and Nebraska. All three schools have tremendous resources but fall far short.

In NCAABB it is Gonzaga...they have been the Cinderella for 20 years in a row.

Texas does well in the non-major 2 sports too so if we are counting those, Texas is pretty solid.

USC is overrated year in and year out.
