Villanova wins tonight in a laugher. For Michigan to win, they’ll need all the following:

Nova to play shitty
refs
game of their lives

Michigan has had arguably the easiest road to the final 4 of any non-1 seed in over a decade.

if you take Michigan, you’ll be getting a team that beat

Montana
Houston (with help and a miracle)
Tex A&M
FLA ST
Loyola

Vs a Nova team that looks unstoppable lately. No disrespect to any of those teams or Michigan, but what I’m saying is, I’ll gladly lay the 7

Nova IMO had the EASIEST bracket in the Tournament hands down. Folks (In the Tournament) don't get it twisted.

Even if you feel that way they still smoked the competition. Wvu was the only one to give a second half scare.

+1 Absolutely true. Just two different styles of basketball. Nova has badass guards and are DEEP.

Tread carefully.

Saying Michigan has an easy path is weak. What were they supposed to do, have the NCAA reseed them against the toughest remaining team after every round? They can only play whoever is ahead of them in the schedule.

Michigan hasn’t lost a game since the same week as the Super Bowl was played, and that includes dominating some pretty good teams in the Big 10 tournament. The Wolverines have gotten to this game on grit, defense, toughness. I’m not concerned about Michigan’s defense...it’s their offense and free throw shooting that makes me hesitate to pull the big trigger.

The Wolverines aren’t going to just roll over.

I understand Michigan can only play who’s in front of them. I also know that you can’t compare team over team, year-over-year. However I’ve been in this game for a long time, and there just aren’t too many teams who had an easier road to the championship, Especially seed wise, ever. It’s just a fact. That being said, I’m not trying to offend Michigan fan or Michigan backer. I’m strictly offering my opinion. I’m in no way stupid enough to think that Michigan is just gonna roll over. They’ve proven time and time again that they have tons of heart. My biggest concern here is that it is THEE marquee game and subject to referee interference. If this were a second round game or some game in the middle the regular season I would have zero concerns about laying seven points if it was at a neutral site. I think that if this game was played 10 times, Villanova would win seven and five of those by double digits. This is strictly what my numbers tell me. That being said, this game is only going to be played one time and whichever team rises to the occasion will become champion. If that champion is Michigan I will have no problem coming back into this thread and eating crow along with my five figure ticket .

Well done.
I liked Nova a lot, for so many reasons, so much that I started looking for reasons to go with Michigan. I saw your point of view and that clinched it, I went very BIG on Nova.
