2018 MLB Plays

I tread lightly in baseball usually. ill try to post plays when i can. i dont really have a whole system down so would follow blindly of course, a lot is based on pitchers and feel.
Detroit under 8.5 -110 1 unit
Detroit ff under 4.5 -110 .5 unit
long story short these teams suck....they really do. junis is a solid prospect though and should keep people off the bases. the royals havnt had more than 9 hits in a game and they were lucky to score 7 with only 9 hits. to me there shouldnt be many chances for teams to put up crooked numbers....but they both suck...so cant count on them too much.

Houston -1.5 -125 1 unit
baltimore cant pitch and cant hit yet this year. bullpen will be needed for long nights all year long it looks like as their starters dont look like they can go deep into the game. wright going for the orioles tonight and he was mostly used as a relief pitcher last year. I cant see him going deep and with bullpen thats already called on early and often i can see it being ugly. didnt even mention verlander....seems like a low price for the difference in talent on each team but again its baseball so you never get too excited about a play. maybe correa and his toe have a small effect on the line but i still like it.

feel like i had it lost, then won, then lost...and then nothing.. lol
ill throw this out there for anyone since i havent clarified earlier for me.
A unit is 50 for me, so you can do that math. I use a price per head service book so my lines are always in $5 increments -105, -110, -115 etc. it sucks because i know line shopping is important but im not throwing crazy $ around so the time isnt worth it plus i like having a local book and cash in hand when i can get it. dont have to worry about offshores or other mess. i meet with my book when im over 200 either way after sunday. so if i have a forced play sunday night its usually cause i am trying to get above or below that. if i slow down its cause im not afraid to walk away while up and or down and live to play the next week. max play with my book is 200 per play, i can play rl, ml or in game for 200 each but on a set play is 200. i have another out if i want to go above that which is rare so usually 4 units (200 bucks) is as high as i go. i asked him to lower it to this after years of always pushing bets. i play in games but probably wont post them since them timing is so quick in between innings.

Cleveland RL -1.5 even 1 unit
Kluber was solid in the first start and i really like the cleveland lineup against lefties. its been too feel good for the angels thus far and i think cleveland is a team ready to break out. after an embarrassing last game i expect them to come out and knock around skaggs with their ace on the bump

Nationals -160 1 unit

I grabbed it this morning at 150 but for all recordkeeping needs i will post it for 160 since thats what it is now. i grabbed it thinking it would move and didnt have time to post, i still think it goes up. wonder how many of us get up to take a shit, get on the phone and gamble....thats what happened for me at 650 this morning.
first home game for the nats, first road game for the mets. nats come off 2 losses and need to clean up the errors which have really cost the team some runs the last 2 games. i think the mets at 4-1 is misleading and this team would be lucky to be .500 at the end of the year. for me even at -160 the nats at home has value. i dont like laying heavy juice and this is typically as high as i will go.

well the nationals really stunk up the joint to this point.
looks like still need to address that bullpen issue
twins even .5 unit
playing small since 3 straight plays went the other way of my thinking and may be on a cold streak.
was high on the twins to start the year and still believe they are a dark horse in the AL. again the home opener angle for me where i think a team shows up and plays well for their home crowd....but of course the nationals didnt but hopefully the twins do.

broke even for the day with a nice twins bounce back. counting it as 1 bet since its essentially needing the same result

nothing helps a slumping team like coming home and getting the royals. i suspect it will go up so grabbing it now. this game has a blowout feel to it imo

had the angels last night, didnt post and wont count to the record but what a game. i went to bed at 6-1 and woke up with a winner.
White Sox -120 1 unit
i was pretty bummed when Giolito lest the nationals. he was a great prospect that i didnt want to see leave. hope he has a good start today and the sox can get him some run support. not high on the tigers this year as i have said before so i like the price for chicago today.
