Just for the hell of it what would the series price be for Rockets/Sixers in NBA Finals

-500 on the Rockets or higher. The way the Sixers are playing right now they will be a tough out in the East. Problem is when Embiid returns he will be out of sync and stamina will come into question. They have struggled against the Raptors but no one is hotter in the league than the Sixers right now.

I am going only off of recent memory here but it seems once playoffs start those hot winning streaks become irrelevant. Unlike football where it seems to carry over into the playoffs, the NBA does not.

Still think the Sixers in NBA Finals is a longshot. They beat the Cavs building up a 30 point lead before letting most of it disappear but held on to win. They now hold the three seed winning their 13th game in a row. Will most likely face the Heat followed by a crippled Celtic team and then Toronto if things hold to form. If Irving was healthy I would say Boston might have prevailed in a 7 game series. Simmons is now scary good and even Fultz is looking like a future great player. Embiid lurking on bench while he heals. They do not need Embiid against Heat. I doubt if the series goes 6 games. Miami has losing record on road and Sixers no longer lose at home.

Rockets -200

Sixers probably won't get there. But if they get there healthy nad have won 3 rounds already they will have lots of momentum, confidence, and steam from bettors.

If they (hypothetical) played a first round series next week Rockets -400 if they play in finals -200 if that makes sense to anyone.

That's a ways away, a lot of perceptions will change based on that happening.

But if Houston beat a healthy GS team then they would probably still be around -400 or more. Tough to say what it would be exactly but I doubt it would get into the -200 range, that's a bit low.

For those teams to play in the finals, you're talking about a paradigm shift of the power structure in the league. Hard to say how that would come about. Not like predicting GS/Cle finals price last year.
