Philly on a collision course with Indiana

Looks pretty likely the 76ers will be playing Indiana in the 1st round of the playoffs. I haven’t watched NBA much this season but the 76ers intrigue me. Despite beating up on shit teams, they’ve won 12 straight and are peaking at the right time. I’m thinking this series will be a pickem.

what are you thoughts on matchups in this series and the probability of the 76ers moving on to round 2?

Philly would be over -200 against Indy assuming Embiid is healthy. Indy had a nice season but won't be given much respect by the oddsmakers. Their scoring differential is pretty low and they were relatively healthy all year.

But Philly/Cle is still a toss up as to who plays Indy in rd 1. Playoff picture far from settled in both conferences.

-200 damn!! I didn’t realize Philly and Cleveland are so close. Looks like tonight’s game could have a major impact in the standings. Appreciate the input.

It could be a little lower, like -170 to -180ish. But I don't think Philly is a secret at this point given they have 2 budding stars in Embiid and Simmons. Surrounded by some pretty good roleplayers as well.

33-11 in their last 44 since being 15-19. And while Indiana was the biggest surprise in the NBA as far as outperforming their win total goes, it's hard to see them getting too much respect in the playoffs. This is a team that is doing more with less from a talent standpoint.

Tonight is actually about as big a game as you can get for NBA regular season. Both Cle and Philly really wanna get that #3 seed to be on Boston's side of the bracket since they are so banged up. Good chance you could get homecourt in rd 2 or just play a depleted Celts team.

Not to mention having homecourt over one another if they were ever to meet.
