are just paid by agents to hype up one guy over another. i mean really game tape is all that really matters. combine, pro day, wonderlic.....all just shit to talk about but not worth much at all imo. what stops some agent from giving 50k to mcshay or kiper and they just talk him up more than the others at the position. kinda think everything from espn is fake news now. so when they say darnold is clearly the #1 it makes me wonder, because on the field i didnt see it and aside from interviews their isnt much. idk, but i dont trust a word from espn anymore and figure everyone is gettting paid. if i were an agent id pay one of these guys to hype my guy up, hell there is a lot of money on the line, being taken 5th or 15th is a big difference in money. just think these guys are like politicians and will say whatever the highest bidder wants them to say......i am tired of hearing it.

problem with your theory is you and I ain't picking in the draft. Doubt the GM of any team gives a shit what Kiper has them ranked.

The draft is definitely not an exact science. It's one of those things where everything matters, but nothing matters at the same time. Some guys have good careers after a good combine, some after a great college career, some after a good pro day, etc....A lot of ways to skin that cat.

I don't think McShay/Kiper have as much sway as you think they do either.
