All 3 qualify for the Kentucky Derby.

Mike Smith (THE G.O.A.T.) on Justify.....Keep an eye on that duo.

Yeah Gravy was a weak field.

Horse is 3-3 though plus Mike Smith.

We`ll see what he has in May.

Should be a good derby

I'm making Audible my Derby horse of choice. Wasn't much impressed by yesterday's races.

For a second straight round, Justify closed as the individual favorite in the 2018 Kentucky Derby Future Wager, this time at a 3-1 price in Pool 4 as the proverbial windows closed at 6 p.m. Sunday.

The Bob Baffert trainee cemented his status as the Derby favorite by posting a front-running, three-length victory in Saturday's Grade 1 Santa Anita Derby over Bolt d'Oro.

Other top choices were UAE Derby winner Mendelssohn (5-1) and Florida Derby winner Audible (7-1).

Pool 4 marked the final round of advanced wagering on the May 5 Derby, and came with just two points-paying preps left.

As is usual, the "All Others" mutuel field encompassing every horse not offered in the Future Wager, remained relevant, closing at 17-1.

Here are the final Pool 4 prices:

Yeag Gravy,he looks real sharp. I have never seen a young horse run on dirt and turf like that.

Pretty good stuff

Am I the only one who thinks Vino Rosso should've been taken down? Came in big time down the lane.

Wow. Didn't see that Meydan race with Mendelsohn. That was super impressive.

He shipped there. That would indicate that he could ship here too as he also did it for the Breeder's Cup turf.

Looks like my choice of Audible has formidable competition after all. Might have to reconsider.

And, yes, Vino Rossi should have come down. But the precedent in big races is to let them ride wild west without penalty.
