First time I can ever remember not having a car payment since I was a teenager. It will be nice to have the extra cash each month to invest or save up to make improvements around the house or upgrade some appliances. I had been thinking about going out and getting an suv, but over the last few months ive changed my mindset to driving the car into the ground and getting a few years hopefully without making any payments. My car is still under 80k miles.

Have way way more in my 401k and brokerage accounts since driving this thing into the ground. Have 60 percent of my house owned as well owing 40 percent.

Nice Job kidman ... I remember my first Car paid off .... it's a great feeling, and when you get to pay off your first House, that's even Better !
