Adding:

0.5 Wild (regulation) +240
0.5 Carter (LAK) anytime goal scorer +188
0.3 Sheary (PIT) anytime goal scorer +400

Sheary is an absolute Flyer killer, guy scores a ton versus Philly in limited ice time and limited PP time. Not sure of the accuracy, but I read he’s scoring a goal every 16 minutes of ice time versus Philly over the last couple of seasons.

Continued success.

11 Boston -1.5 goals +190
14 Washington +143

Going against the grain here a bit, incredible amounts of love for both the Leafs and Jackets. I don’t see it with Toronto. They play an open, finesse game and I think they are going to run into issues with the Bruins style of play. The depth is there for the Leafs and they can produce all on lines, but the defense is suspect and Andersen isn’t elite.

I get it with the Jackets, but it’s overboard. Bobrovsky doesn’t have the mental side of the game to steal a series and despite the fact any meaningful statistics point to Columbus, I’m backing the Caps tonight to take out the Jackets, who dumped the finale to avoid Pittsburgh and face Washington.

Note: Washington was a typo and should have read -143, not +143.

51 Philadelphia +186
53 Minnesota +172

Not going to get a better price on the Flyers than today, after the abysmal first game performance. The Penguins are freakishly good, and my pick to three peat, but they aren’t as good as they looked in the opener and the Flyers aren’t that bad either. Pens are legit at home, but I still have questions about their defense and Murray, that I won’t dismiss based on one game. Elliott is as bad as advertised though, so buyer beware, but the Flyers can score.

I still like the Wild to take this series with the Jets. That was an emotional high in Winnipeg and the Wild still nearly stole it. They need to ease off trying to match the Jets physical play though or they will detioriate as the series goes on.

Winnipeg is just abusing the Wild. Nice hit on Philly

No doubt. I really like this Jets side, but thought the step up to the playoff level might be a bit much for the youngsters, especially against a scrappy side like the Wild. They dominated last night and Hellebuyck hasn’t seemed the slightest bit rattled, which I was banking on.

I like the Devils in this series, but figured TB may be strong in the opener, especially with all the negative media coverage to close the season. I think you’ll see TB regress to their performance over last month or two and the Devils steal this one.

The Avs had their shot in game one, Preds roll today I think. Without Varlamov it’s just too much for the Avs to overcome.

Kinkaid has been dreadful, didn’t see that coming after the molten red hot run he had to close the season.

Not sure what to think about the evening slate, but I expect more than the nine goals we saw through these sides in the openers. I’m just playing some goal scorer props.

0.3 Mathews +163
0.3 Bergeron +175
0.3 Perry +250
0.3 Boedker +500

Leafs will play much better tonight, I believe, and Mathews is going to need a big game. A loss here and that could be all she wrote for Toronto. I’m backing Bergeron again, he’s a pillar for the Bruins and seems to a constant thorn in the Leafs side.

The Ducks top line will need to produce tonight and Perry and Rakell seem like the best options with Getzlaf more of a set up man. Both played well against the Sharks this season, but struggled mightily in the opener. Boedker isn’t much of an offensive threat, but seems to raise his game versus Anaheim. He was great in the opener and dominant thought it the season when facing the Ducks.

Continued success.
