My .02 worth....
I think this is a bad spot for playing Magnum Moon and will try to beat him. He doesn’t need the points and with the Derby just 3 weeks away, I don’t think Pletcher will have him go full out to win what I think will be a tough race. Solomini ran well in the Rebel and that was his first start of the year and I look for him to move forward off that effort and run a big race. Quip, owned by the same owners who own Justify, was rerouted here for a reason. To win a Grade 1 Race. Quip is also making his 2nd start of the year after winning the Tampa Bay Derby when pressing the pace and beating Flameaway, who came back to run 2nd in the Florida Derby. I like one one of these 2 to win the race.
