My mini Australian Shepherd is going in for emergency surgery

posivite thoughts please, shes been sick the past 3-4 days and was not eating, moaning, and became shaky on her feet and falling down. Turns out her Uterus is infected and her white blood count was over 100k instead of the 15-17k range.

Luckily, the surgery is like a spay so the surgeon should be really good at it bc its so common. It will just take the pup longer to bounce back bc the infection will have to be beaten back. Good luck man. Dogs are better than people.

shes out of surgery, I can go pick her up in an hr, but have to drop her off at another animal clinic for overnight care

Best dogs. I have a chocolate lab/ Australian shepherd. My only complaint is how needy she is. But most unique dog I've ever had. Hope your dog recovers well and gets to full health. Good luck
