I was wondering the same. I don’t know him but many celebs have come to his defense. Apparently he got in trouble as a kid and he’s been on probation for 11 years and he violated it and was sent to jail.

Shouldn't be a big deal, but terrible music is very much respected today. He is by far one of the worst rappers I've ever heard that gets positive recognition.

He's not a respected artist to people who know hip hop. He's mainstream. Within the rap game he isn't respected. The media doesn't cover artists people don't give a fuck about. People care about him but I don't know why. Shows you how clueless this generation is on music. Him and Drake beef'd for a while which probably helped his career
