I think Trump is doing a fantastic job! I didn't vote Trump but I decided to support him the very day he became elected. That's the problem with American. When Obama won, from day one the racists and others started attacking him before he even moved in to office. Now with Trump, the Liberals starting attacking him from day one. We need to support the Presidents no matter what the party and work together as a country. This isn't all Republicans and Democrats but many,especially the uneducated ones.
By the way, I do think this whole nonsense about the universal basic income concept is a horrendous idea. Pay people to sit at home and play video games and get fat?? Wtf?!
What the Democrats need is a suitable and competent leader to be able to regroup. And they will find him/her. The Liberal party will be back stronger than ever. If you deny this fact then you either live in a bubble or lack post secondary education. Hilary was a terrible choice and Trump came in at the right time to take advantage of that.
The Democrats need to clean house. They need to work on policies and better ideas instead of just saying, ''vote for us because Trump will destroy America'' (which he isn't by the way. The economy is doing great and my investments and bonuses at work are looking even better lol)
You know if it wasn't for the color of my skin (not white) I would be voting Republican lol. That's the problem for the Republicans which prevents them from dominating long term.
For the most part the Republicans want a white, Christian, family values and hard working America. I'm fine with the family values and hard work, men's washroom for men only, and women's washroom for women only (if you have a penis you go to the men's washroom, that's it) But the part where you lost me, and most blacks decades ago, and now with Hispanics and brown immigrants is the white Christian part. It's just not sustainable. Too many blacks, Hispanics, immigrants in America. More coming on a regular basis and not to mention they all tend to have way more babies than the average white couple. Then you have to factor in all the whites that are lesbian/gay (vomit) and the Republicans have a real problem sustaining long term success.
So what's going to happen in this upcoming election? I will predict that the Democrats will regroup and reshape their whole game plan. They must. They can't just say, vote for us because Trump is sexist or buys sex from porn stars etc. That kind of nonsense won't fly. They need concrete ideas, agendas and policies. Not to mention the economy is doing great so they have to convince voters how can it be better? What's to gain from changing anything at this point?
Don't underestimate the Democrats. The will regroup and bounce back. It's going to be about changing their agenda and having a much better candidate. I for one am very interested to witness the next election. Should be interesting.
My point for this thread? I don't know. Will the Democrats ever change their agenda? Will the Republicans ever change their ideals of wanting a white America that simply isn't possible? It's a shame. Because but for that ONE factor, I'd be a Republican. I want to be. I can't relate to Democrats for most of their ideas and opinions but I'm not about to support a party that throughout most of history has been about white America since I'm one of the millions in the U.S doing my part to make it less and less white as time goes by. And why is race such an issue in this day and age? Are you Republicans against immigration just because you're starting to feel insecure about America becoming less and less white as time goes by? Why does that bother you? It never bothered my father when he came to America when it was mostly white.
I know not all Republicans are against immigration or brown/black people but most. There's a reason ALL my white friends and girlfriend are Democrats. I've tried to be friends with white Republicans but they aren't having it. It's neither their loss nor mine.
