Players constantly showing up refs is just getting out of hand. They jump up and down and piss and moan and scream and complain constantly, even when the foul is 1000% obvious and hard and clearly impacts the play.

It's stupid, it's ugly, it ruins the game, and it's a microcosm of the lack of respect for everything permeating throughout society

Take control back, they act like an asshole, call a technical. That shit will change real fast

but its hard not to show emotion when the home team constantly gets favored calls on calls which CLEARLY should not be called...

Nobody wants to see that but you are right. Most of the time the players think they never foul or they want to win so bad and are mis matched that they have to foul. These NBA refs are the best in the world at what they do.

The Warriors complain a lot because they have time to bitch and complain, don't have to focus as hard on the game. Aren't playing at a deficit.

But most teams really don't go as far as them, they just can't be preoccupied with the refs. When you have an all-star team it's a lot easier.

Davis shot 7 FT's in the first 3 games of the series but he can't really just yell at the refs after every play because a few lapses and his team is down double digits.

It's been that way for a good 20+ years. Blame MJ.

MJ? LMAO. More like MJ just schooled the fuck out of people. Sure he got calls all the time, he's the G.O.A.T. It's called respect, son. Hahahaha. Love the Jordan haters. They'll get shut down every single time.

He was the first superstar who really started going at the refs, then the rest followed. Obviously when he came back from baseball, he knew how financially dependent the league was on him. I do think teams like the Warriors, LeBron teams, Bulls, Lakers of past years know in their heads the status they carry and push the envelope a little more because of it.

It's wasn't an MJ thing specifically, just kinda started in that late 90s. That's when I first noticed it getting out of control. I remember Paul Pierce rookie year he barely said anything to the refs then by his 2nd year he thought he was MJ. It has peaks and valleys though, don't remember a team ever as bad as the Warriors with it. Iguodala never acted like that on other teams so I think a lot of it just has to do with the winning teams and entitlement.

Appreciate the response though, now I see why mobbdeeper mentions you are the worst.

Lol so Mobbdeeper says one thing and you go suck on his nuts? Interesting. Guess u really don't know who I am. It is what it is.

Iguodala.....did u even watch the game today? Iggy had 2 BULLSHIT fouls called on him in the 2H. He had reason to be upset about those calls.

I do agree and think theyg need to hand out more technicals for all the crying. Hell, they gave Draymond a T for just making an action to the ref saying Davis pushed off. They rung him up right away. That wasn't fair to him. And the reason why Draymond gets that T, is all because of his current and past reputation. There is no doubt about this.

I don't know who you are. I was just basing it off your comment to me and his comments about you, you were being rude. Saying that showing up officials started in the late 90's is not much of a hot take. Calm down.

Iguodala was more of a general comment. He's been complaining about every call for 3 years now, he won finals MVP, not league MVP. Dude needs to chill. And Green may have had a quick whistle today but Davis has shot 7 FT's in the entire series, maybe he should calm down and wait until he really has something to complain about. A ref might give him a quick whistle but he's complaining every play, it's never about that 1 play, it's an accumulation.

I do think if the Rockets are giving them a series then they won't act like that though, a lot of it is just when you know you can turn it on and blow a team ou by 20 whenever you want, it's easier to get distracted and focus on that stuff.

I see where you are coming from though.

Technicals, more of them, definitely needed to stop all the bitching & whining.

Another key aspect to all of this is the FLOPPING. How come nobody is talking about this anymore? It's a PUSSIFIED kinda league these days.

Eh flopping is down a decent amount I think. It was a little more out of control like 5-10 years ago when the euro/south American influx was really hitting the league. Everyone loves Ginobili but he brought that to the NBA really. Guessing he won't be mentioning that in his HoF speech.

That was cool today when Curry tried to flop on Mirotic and he yelled at him "Get up!"

Hubie Brown was complaining an offensive foul should have been called yesterday on a play he admitted he didn't see (and thus may have been a flop)

(paraphrasing) "I didn't see the contact, but an offensive should have definitely been called". I'm like WTF? Seriously?
