Crazy good Derby Day for myself ...but that's in the past .... time to focus on the Preakness ...

I think Good Magic ( Identical numbers with Dosage and CD that Exaggerator had when he finished 2nd in Derby and won in the Preakness ) ....should give Justify a run for the Preakness , if not win ....

Audible will be bet on if entered in the Preakness as well ...only 1 time in last 47 years a horse with his numbered index has won the Preakness ... Audible cost me the Trifecta because of that same number though ...so as u know anything will and can happen in horse racing ...

    May add

Just trying to help u guys out a bit ...sharing a key factor in Preakness ....your call ....if you use the info or not ....

Since 1970 ( Last 47 Years ) ...no horse with an Index of above 1.33 has finished in 1st or 2nd place in the Preakness .... 0 - 94 .....
So if you guys see a horse with an Index of 1.34 , which is located on the line of the Conduit Mare Profile , I would reconsider the pick , but your call , of course ....

Good info, but can you list the horses of 1.34 & above that qualify under this 0-94 trend.

Since 1970 ...Last 47 Years .... the best overall Female Family Line that has finished in the Top 2 Spots the most in the Preakness has been Female Family # 1 .....17 % of the possible 94 spots that finish in 1st or 2nd place are by the Female Family # 1 ... led by 3 wins by 1-x ...

I decided to break down every horse entered in the Preakness from 1970 to 2017 Last 47 years .... Looking at Female Family Lines / Dosage / Center Distribution ( CD ) / Index / First Horses Mentioned in Thick Black Ink in the 5th generation and 3rd generation ....

Through to 1983 so far ... interesting finds ....

To many the above means nothing , but it's cool ....just a guide , is all ....

You're really digging & getting a lot of info. Do you ever get dizzy trying to put it all together to come up with a decent horse? I find there are a lot of trends/angles, etc....in horse racing & too much info sometimes can be a negative, what do you think?

Reason I say that is because in a horse race like the derby, there are 20 horses running, or the Preakness, maybe 10 horses, & that can be confusing at times.

If he's healthy & Baffert puts him in the starting gate, I agree, I don't see him losing the Preakness.

But I still wanna see what Kaboom comes up with.

Honestly bro ... I really do the digging as a hobby in which I use as a guideline if debating on a horse or two .... Worth the hours of investing ? Probably not .... as I did mention ....just a guide ...and I enjoy the work .... Disabled / Retired ...pure hobby ....

Trying to hit the Super ...is all .... I realize no one will beat Justify ....but if Good Magic runs ...he matches exactly with Exaggerator 2016 winner of Preakness , but Justify is no Nyquist , for sure ...
