There are now seven college football coaches in the "$7 Million Club".

    Nick Saban (Alabama)
    Kirby Smart (Georgia)
    Jimbo Fisher (Texas A&M)
    Gus Malzahn (Auburn)
    Dabo Swinney (Clemson)
    Urban Meyer (Ohio State)
    Jim Harbaugh (Michigan)

Do you believe all seven coaches belong in "The Club"?

$7 Million-a-year........Using 365 days a yea, that comes to $19,178.08 per day.....My first teaching and coaching job payed me $3,200.......per-year.
When we see what some of the giant Corporate heads earn each year, I guess $7M per year for football's finest is in line for value received, especially on Saturdays during the Fall of the year.

Clover: I always suspected that you knew what the "smell" of a Locker room was all about...Coaching football and class room teaching, of course, I should have known as much, your narratives here in the Rx Forum where you pass-along your knowledge of the game of football are vey impressive, you do know what impacts the game today.

I really appreciate your exchanges with many of the knowledgeable people here in the football sector of the RX Forum including those that become "slightly heated" now and then.....They do liven things up a bit. LOL

Me....Over the years, I hung out with several rancher/farmers from Albert, Canada who would "chuckle" when my 400 acres would come-up in our conversations, they would suggest that my acreage was in the "hobby farm" category where they live. (that is when I sold-out).....LOL....Keep chugging my Man , it will be Labor Day before we know it.

Ok, Mack...we will go with 400 acres for forum purposes.

Now some real stuff. I grew up on a small horse farm with some occasional mules and
small ponies. Never, ever met a person who loved horses like my dad. He would buy
rank horses and put me on them. If I couldn't ride them....he would when he shouldn't
have. One tough dude and I've never forgotten that.

Mack, our good buddies here at the forum (Roll Tide, CoachCB, Albatross) are probably
city boys...but we love them anyway.
