I always liked Ovechkin better than Sid. Nice to see him finally get past the Penguins.

I thought Caps were done after they blew that lead going into the 3rd period that one game but they fought their way back and put the Pens away.

as a lifelong caps fan last night was simply a great night. the rivalry was always great because the teams were so evenly matched. pittsburgh always just barely better or just getting the lucky bounce when needed, but last night was different and great. nice as a dc sports fan to be in a conference finals again, its been 20 years. the last time a DC team was in the conference finals Chris Webber was a wizard, trent green was the redskins quarterback, and the nationals were the expos. great day to be a caps fan.

They went 6-2 with Holtby in net after they went to him. Good sequence of events the way that played out for them the last 2 rounds. With their PP, Columbus has nobody to blame but themselves for blowing a 2-0 lead in games, they kept taking penalties!!

Pens regressing,slower,,and to many penalties,..................CAPS,have been playing great hockey right now,,and their speed and great passing is what took its toll,.......Now don't get me wrong,Pens are good team,with back,to,back, titles,so ya can't win em all,...by the way,LETS GO PENS!!!!!

I'm a fan of Ovechkin but a fan of Tampa Bay as a team. I am happy either way. I agree with you. I think Tampa to win the series is a good bet now. Or is this finally Ovechkin's time? I'm putting a small amount on Tampa to win the series. Definitely on Tampa game 2.
