Well maybe. The Celts inbounded the ball at their end with about 5 seconds left and a one point lead. Smart, who had missed four of his previous 5 free throws, should have never touched the ball as the foul was inevitable. So with 3. something left he (predictable) misses his first free throw. So Philly backers dodged the bullet they hoped for while C fans got smacked in the face. Then Smart tried to miss the second (because Philly had no time outs left and only 3. something seconds to get the ball up the floor and score). The ball rattled hard from back rim to backboard to front rim to backboard before going in.

When The C's had a one point lead and the ball with 5 seconds left did you really think you were going to win if you bet Philly? No. But if you had the Cs you sure did.

Philly bettors (+1) almost got the miracle push while C bettors almost watched a pretty sure win go awry.
