Authorities say she sent more than 65,000 text messages to a man she was stalking. Speaking from jail Thursday, the suspect said it was all about love.

"If [he] wants me to go to jail, I should be in jail," 31-year-old Jacqueline Ades, wearing an orange jumpsuit, told reporters. "I appreciate it. He's the light, I'm the love. He knows what to do and I follow the rules."

Police in Paradise Valley, a suburb of Phoenix, say Ades met the victim on a dating app and, once rejected, took a bath in his home when he wasn't there, showed up at his Scottsdale business, where she claimed to be his wife, and ultimately sent him threatening texts.

"U do whatever u have to do to get here... but don't ever try to leave me... I'll kill you," some of the messages read, according to NBC News' affiliate 12news.com. "Oh what would I do w ur blood! I'd wanna bathe in it."

The suspect, whom police listed as being from Phoenix, was booked Tuesday on suspicion of making threats, stalking, harassment and failure to appear in court to face previous allegations of trespassing, police said.

During the news conference a breathless Ades rambled about how she was "following the number 33" on a serendipitous journey to "find my healing angel" when she met the victim online. The number was part of the equation of love, that Ades said she wanted to spread. But while Ades indicated she loved the man unconditionally, she said he did not return the favor and acted "weird."

"He put a GPS on my car, I think," she said. "He put something on my phone so I couldn't use it."

Ades said she already had plans to travel from her former base of Miami to Arizona when she met the victim online and made arrangements for a first date -- Jan. 19, 2017. She said she traveled to the Grand Canyon State, spent three days at the man's home, traveled to California, then returned to Arizona.

"This was when we were still kind of talking," Ades told reporters. "I told him, 'If you ever block me on this app I would come and move here.' So he blocked me, so I came here."

Starting in July police arrested Ades multiple times on suspicion of trespassing. Cops said the victim, who was out of the country, discovered the suspect in his home April 8 after he spotted her remotely via his video security system. Arriving officers say they found Ades taking a bath.
On May 4 the woman was "acting irrationally" at the victim's business in Scottsdale, prompting authorities in nearby Paradise Valley to launch a search that culminated with her arrest Tuesday, according to a statement.

Maricopa County, Arizona inmate records show no bail for Ades, who was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.

"When you're finding love, not everything is perfect," the suspect told reporters. "This is a journey."

Chick looks like she'd be wild AF in the bedroom. I wish we could talk to some of the guys she's dated in the past, I bet that would be very entertaining.

65,000 text

A Phoenix woman is facing numerous charges after she allegedly sent more than 65,000 text messages to a man after a first date last summer, many of them containing bizarre threats.
Police arrested 31-year-old Jacqueline Ades on May 8 and charged her with threatening, stalking, harassment and failure to appear in court, according to The Washington Post.
Ades discussed the allegations on Thursday during a jailhouse interview with local CBS affiliate KPHO-TV.
“I felt like I met my soul mate and I thought we would just do what everybody else did and we would get married and everything would be fine,” Ades said, adding that she met the man on Luxy, an online dating site for verified millionaires.
Ades said she sent her date so many texts because “loving him selflessly brought me his information.”
According to police, many of the text messages Ades “selflessly” sent included anti-Semitic insults and threats like, “Don’t ever try to leave me ... I’ll kill you ... I don’t wanna be a murderer!”
Authorities say she texted the following:

  • “I hope you die ... you rotten filthy Jew.”
  • “I’m like the new Hitler ... man was a genius.”
  • “Oh, what I would do w/your blood ... I’d wanna bathe in it.”

That’s when she allegedly broke into the man’s home and took a bath in his tub. Police say she also showed up at his work pretending to be his wife.
Ades is due in court May 15 and will be represented by a public defender. She is being held without bond.
Although Ades acknowledged that sending 65,000 text messages seemed like a lot, she told KPHO she thought she’d sent more.
She added: “Love is an excessive thing.”
